Getting Started

Is 10th Planet Longmont good for someone who has never done jiu-jitsu before?

Yes, completely free, with no obligation and no credit card required. A coach will personally reach out after you sign up to help you pick the right class for your goals and experience level.

What should I wear to my first jiu-jitsu class?

Just athletic clothes you can move in, such as a t-shirt or rash guard and shorts or leggings without pockets or zippers. No gi or special uniform is needed since 10th Planet is a 100% no-gi system.

Do I need a gi to train at 10th Planet Longmont?

No. 10th Planet is a 100% no-gi submission grappling system created by Eddie Bravo. You train in regular athletic clothes — no kimono or special uniform required, even as you advance.
